I would LOVE to whip out 14-step dishes, and do fancy things with my tofu, and remember to prepare key ingredients the night before they’re needed.  I’d love to make my own bread, since most store-brought bread tries to kill me.  I’d love to have room in my kitchen for lots of fancy gadgets that do amazing things.

But self-knowledge is a virtue – perhaps my only one.  And I KNOW I’m really not that kind of person.

I also love making something quick and really delicious.  I love finding new ways to combine my dietary choices and my honey’s dietary choices into delightful meals.  I love nourishing and being nourished with food.

My honey Gabe is a vegetarian with roots in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.  I’m a gluten-free pescetarian raised on Tex-Mex and Galveston seafood.  Together we enjoy Thai, Indian, and Greek food, and not spending money on groceries.
